I'm not a landscape architect (although I toyed with the idea once), landscape designer or even master gardner, if that title means anything to you. I'm just a guy who likes trees, shrubs and discrete perennials. Conifers border on an obsession; well over 100 different cultivars, so far. Flowers are tolerated in moderation.
I'll be writing here about my main garden plot in Brunswick, Maine, but also the neglected one in Alton, New Hampshire. And about other places that I visit that inspire me to want to recreate an element of them at home.
What usually happens is that while puttering outside, if I see something interesting, I make a snap with the iPhone then, at night, will add some text to what I saw and felt that day. There are also a few older postings from a site that used to reside on Apple's MobileMe service but which is being discontinued.
Since these reflections take place at home, my family has a presence here too.
